Jugendlicher Heldentenor / Wagner Opera Tenor

 

Opera singer Johnny van Hal, the Swedish heldentenor, sings lead parts in Wagner operas such as Siegfried, Tristan and Isolde, Tannhäuser, Lohengrin, Erik in Der Fliegende Holländer and Walther von Stolzing in Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg. In addition he sings parts as Bacchus in Ariadne auf Naxos, Cavaradossi in Tosca, Hoffmann, the Prince in Rusalka, and Florestan in Leonore by Beethoven.

New DVD: Siegfried

Released on Arthaus Musik this summer, the Weimar Siegfried is now available on DVD and Blueray.



Next performances:

In January, Johnny van Hal will sing the title part in Tann-häuser at the Royal Danish Opera in Copenhagen.


In spring 2010 Johnny van Hal sing several performances of Siegfried at the Aalto-Theatre in Essen.


From March 2010, Johnny van Hal will sing the part of Aegist in the Copenhagen “Elektra”.
